3 2 4 4 3 2 4 4 For Pryor and Chao, would have been nice to have a handout that matched the slide to facilitate note taking. Most presenters did a good job of presenting "what" they have done but had little time to get to the real "meat" of "how" they accomplished it. Limit to 4 presenters/topics for future forums. Ask membership what they want to learn or be exposed to. (just and idea). Schramm, good speaker, good delivery. Pryor, poor speaker, poor handouts. Martin, needed more time but did a good job. Britton, nice job. Polk, good commercial.
4 3 5 4 4 3 3 5 Conclude at 4 pm (due to traffic reasons) Creative paths to achieve procurement successes! Very informative and well respected panel
5 5 5 5 4 5 4 5 Mark Aliello, Nortbert Ore, Dave Bing-leverage this year's speakers to get others! Aarondent-VPSC-catholic healthcare/Pick the date now!! Keep to the same week-next year that way it can be planned-people get used to it. Lower price up front, Sue had some great ideas, keep list of previous sponsors, send invite to them.
5 5 5 5 4 5 4 5 Drew, good speaker, nice style, good talk. Craig, a lot of good information that can be used for a lot of businesses. Even at the functional staff level. I use some of these ideas and present to management. Liked the fact be spoke of re-org that has time tested data. Lisa, interesting topic, built on previous 2 talks, making it even more "on target." Networking-great session. Carol, good presenter, I'm sure I totally understand what she meant by "multi sourcing." Dr. Chao, very interesting, a lot of US companies can benefit from his project. Good educational talk on China and culture. Different from what we tend to think about China. Polk, I went to work for him! Good information we can use to sell the value of C.P.M. to our companies.
4 3 4 4 4 3 2 4 Schramm-well prepared & entertaining. Pryor, a little disinterested. Martin, refreshing & passionate. Panel, thanks for asking my questions. Britton, well-prepared & logical. Chao, easily understood. Polk, More effective if spoke rather than read script. Good audio, dirty table clothes, good phone receptions, need Herman Miller chairs. 1-Large scale supply base consolidations. 2-Supply chain risk management. 3-Dealing with supplier bankruptcies. 4-Bailment-what is it and how does it work?
n/a n/a n/a n/a n/a n/a n/a n/a As an exhibitor, a brief "commercial minute" to describe our offering would have been appreciated.
4 2 4 4 4 3 n/a 4 Ask participants who are asking questions to identify themselves prior to asking questions.
4 2 4 3 4 3 n/a 4 Metric development. Low country supplier development. SOX-impact on processes/cost
5 4 5 4 3 3 3 5 The impact SOX requirements is having on the procurement organizations industry wide.
4 5 5 5 4 4 n/a 5 Shorter breaks-more substance/presentations. Could have listed to Craig Pryor all day, please send the new O/H's from his presentation.
5 4 5 5 5 4 n/a 5 I would like to congratulate Embassy Suites for doing such a wonderful job. Very Nice.
3 2 4 4 3 4 2 4 Mr. Pryor's presentation was corroded by the use of derogatory and offensive terminology, "bitch" in lieu of the word complain. Turned off by his offensive language. Note: it would be good to eliminate the 4:00 presentation, more than half the class departs. Polk, I did not come to hear accolades for Horst Cawi!!
4 5 5 n/a 3 n/a n/a n/a This was an interesting and informative group of speakers. They all did well and there was a good mixture of subjects. For me, more of the same. One comment from a sponsor that last year each was given one minute in front of the audience. I would have liked that also. Maybe there is a good reason not to do this but maybe it could be worked into the program as we go along. Britton, this presentation as excellent but I disagreed with the strategy
